15 year update, kinda
April 25, 2021 - 5:58 p.m.
Wow 15 years between updates. So much has changed. I paid diaryland 19 dollars to recover my past entries, but I haven't heard from them yet. I found a back door into them though. Just go to edit/delete, and I was able to go into them and read them. I just read alot of them. Some of them sound so stupid. What a fool I was back then. You know that old saying about if i knew then what I know now?
I really wish I had kept up with updating this over the years, even if it had just been updates every now and then. Would have really been interesting sometimes. Oh well, I guess thats what my Facebook memories are for, although I don't post my private thougths there of course.
I don't hang out with anyone that I did back then. Life moves and and for the best. I have some good friends now, but don't hang out with them much. I still work at the prison as a Correctional Officer. Next month I will have been there 15 years. I figure I'm about half way to retirement.
My brother and his family family moved out in the country about 40 miles away. My sister divorced her husband of 27 years a couple of years ago and now lives with her boyfriend in Brookfield. My grandma died almost 10 years ago in December 2011. My step dad died of brain cancer 5 years ago. Crazy huh? We had fell out of touch over the years since my mom died and he moved away, but i still felt sad for him.
When my brother and his wife decided to move to the country, they wanted me to go with them, but I didn't want to move way out there. I moved into some apartments here in Chillicothe and a year later I met Laura. We moved to a house in 2009 and then bought a house in 2015. We got married on July 3,2016, 9 years after we got together. We bought a differant house in 2017, and thats where we live now. In fact its a house I lived next door to from 1989 to 1990 and became good friends with the guy that lived here and his family. So I had some history with this house.
Laura and I have two dogs, Button and Bailey. She has a grown son thats married now and they have a 3 year old son Wyatt.
So much more to say about the last 15 years, wow! I still like baseball and the Royals, I like the older Star Treks, hate the new ones. I am a proud Trump supporter and believe, like anyone with a working brain, that the 2020 election was rigged.
Speaking of 2020, wasn't that a hell of a year? A world wild pandemic, what the fuck? I believe the virus was used for political reasons and isn't nor ever was as bad as they tried to protray it. I don't believe in wearing masks. I did get the vaccine. Why you may ask? I don't really know why. I don't know why I do the things I do sometimes, or why I feel the way I feel about things sometimes.
